Misha & Yvona are potters based in Mosman and Manly, Sydney who produce natural organic hand built and thrown ceramics tableware. Each piece is individually crafted and unique. They are drawn from colours and textures of nature, simplicity and function.

Ceramics is one of the oldest technology we have and our whole evolution is connected to it. Pottery has re-emerged with a new and important role to play in our society. It enriches everyday objects with purpose and beauty; it gives them a soul. When an object is made by hand-by an artisan-you won’t want to throw it away. You will care for it and cherish it.

We wish that with our tableware you will enjoy your daily rituals just a little bit more.

Our pottery takes up to 14 days to be made as each product has to be placed in the kiln twice.

Please feel free to come up with your own design that you would like us to put on our ceramics, any writing or decoration that can have personal meaning to you, we are happy to work with you to create your final product :-)

Ceramics makes us relaxed, clear our heads and teach us patience. You cannot rush clay. You need to be present and focus your mind on the material in your hands, disconnect from your to-do list, worries about work, and inner conversations. It is a form of meditation. Touching the clay, that feeling that you are again connected with nature in some way. We are living in a world full of technology, surrounded by all this stress and rush, we are losing this contact with nature. The process of taking a clod of mud, mixing it with water giving it form, put it in the fire, and walking away with something beautiful, functional, and completely unique is a magical experience. It brings an overwhelming sense of joy and satisfaction to anyone who works with clay.

CARE AND SAFETY

For everyday use, we recommend washing our products with warm water by hand. Stoneware (which is product fired in a higher temperature) could be placed in the dishwasher but we recommend to put it in the top of drawer (because the water pressure in the bottom is usually stronger) and try to avoid that something will fall against it. All earthenware products (fired in low temperature and thus are more porous than stoneware) are recommended to be washed by hand. Even if it is earthenware glazed, it is still porous so it is preferable to not be submerged in water.

All our ceramics pieces are dipped or brushed with FOOD-SAFE GLAZES.

You can buy our products online on our web or even order via Instagram. You can visit as well our shop/studio at Cremorne plaza, NSW 2090. Address and map you can find on our contact page.

Please if you have any question don't hesitate to use our "chat" tab in the right-hand bottom of the corner of our website and we try to answer it asap. We are also happy to tailor-make things to your requirements.

It is possible to pay by PayPal or any major credit or debit card.

DELIVERY AND RETURN

Once we have received your order if the product is in stock (ready for delivery) we will send it within 2-3 business days, then please allow normal postage time. If the product is not in stock it will take 8-14 days to be produced, decorated and then dispatched within 2-3 working days.

We are offering an optional wrapping service for free - if is a gift (black/white with Australian native flowers on picture).

We do our best to package our product with care and caution but in rare cases-it could potentially break in transit if not handled appropriately. Please let us know if this does occur and we will replace it as fast as we can. If you are unhappy with your purchase then please contact us and let us know that you would like a refund and we will help you with the return. You are able to refund the product within 7 days of date of delivery.
